Please read through and comment if you would have done what I did or something differently if you were in my place…
Sooo…the other day I was at the head of a line waiting for something. An acquaintance said, “Hi” to me and cut in line a few people behind me. I could see many polite but indignant people in line behind him smother their annoyance. Battling my conscience I stood there perplexed as to what to do…and then I spoke up…in my most meek voice I stammered, “I think all these people have been waiting in line…”. I felt his embarrassment as though it were my own and was distraught at making someone feel that way…seeking to explain myself, but not having the opportunity…I left. Then I read this…”We develop our conscience through the four cardinal virtues of Justice, Temperance, Prudence and Courage.” Still battling my conscience…
